Weight distribution is different in every burner 2.0 clubhead, it is made to improve long, middle and short iron ball flight. In long irons weight is shifted towards the head. That way it should promote easy launch and more stability.
In the mid irons weight is distributed more venly. In the short irons weight positioning is intended to promote more controllable ball flight.
Every individual Burner 2.0 has a different face thickness. Long irons have thinnest and fastest faces. The thinner face is more ball speed and distance and thicker face is guarantee of greater feel.
The multi functional sole has been improved ( compared with original Burner iron) by recessing the heel and toe and reducing drag. All that made solid and clean contact easier and more possible.
Burner 2.0 made long irons significantly easier to hit and more playable.
It has improved vibration management system and new flight control shaft design.
Burner 2.0 irons are offered in four shaft flexes – S, R, M, L. The standard Burner 2.0 set includes eight irons for a price of $ 699 with steel shafts in the irons and $ 899 with graphite shaft in the irons. They are available since this October.
That level of performance could not be achived with four piece ball. Penta TP provides soft feel of the putter, high spin rates of 9 iron and wedgesw, lower spin and better overall control with 6-8 irons, optimum lunch with 3-5 irons and maximum distance with the driver.
This design made it possible for each layer to get progressively faster from the core to outermost mantle and that is what optimizes driving distance for a variety of swing speeds.
Because of multipurpose nad multitasking players like Dustin Johnson, Retief Goosen, Pat Perez, Sergio Garcia and many others decided to play with this ball.
